Mila: I think you can find zucchini flowers at the farmer's market when zucchini are in season. If you live in the US check this site for farmers markets http://www.chef2chef.net/marketplace/farmer-markets/
About the anchovies they're usually part of the dish, I suggest you to try at least one with it. If you use the flour mixture the zucchini flowers will be crunchier. Good luck on your search.

Hello!

I was recently introduced to zucchini flowers prepared in this style at a restaurant and would love to recreate this DELISH dish for my family. Your recipe for Roman style fried zucchini flowers seems pretty accurate for how they were served at the restaurant minus one part there was an orange hue to the sauce/cheese stuffing mixture (other recipes reference a pumpkin type of ingredient?) they used breadcrumbs not flour im a fan of both breading so thats not an issue oh and don't think there was anchovy but im better off not knowing if it was actually in the dish I had!! (HA!)

So, my question is, where can I find the zucchini flowers? I feel silly asking but Ive looked in a few different supermarkets and places online and have come up empty.

Any suggestions? Im drooling already with hopes to feast on these yummy treats again!!!

Thank you so much!!
