Winter menu 1



This is one of my typical menu during the winter season.

First course
Risotto with wine

Second course
Veal scaloppine with Marsala

Side dishes
Peas with ham

Dessert
Tiramisù

Preparation tips:

The Tiramisu needs to be prepared a day in advance. You can prepare the peas while you are making the risotto and then just warm them up before serving them with the scalopine. The risotto needs to be prepared at the moment.

Wine Ideas:
Use the same wine you serve with the risotto with the scaloppine too. The serve a Moscato d’Asti with the Tiramisu.

Serving notes:
This is a straight forward menu from the serving standpoint. Serve the risotto then a about 5 minutes after everyone has finished put on the scaloppine and peas. Of course, the Tiramisu is last.
