Patty is Italian, plain and simple, 100% Italian born, raised and still living in Italy. Her recipes are fruit of her passion for good cooking passed on from her parents and give one a peek into a modern day Italian kitchen. Her recipes are not things she makes up along the way or dishes she makes just for the site. Everything in this site is a part of life at the table in her home. Some recipes are classics known around the world, others are more obscure unknown dishes. Some have entered into her collection recently others have been there from the moment she started cooking. Every recipe has its own history and purpose in the site here and in her home.
The thing you really should know though is she painstakingly makes all the recipes, converting to cups and spoons from her usual metric system and if the recipe isn’t perfect then she does it over again. She herself can’t stand when recipes she tries from sites or cookbooks don’t come out, so she wants to be certain that if you follow all the indications your dish will be a success.
